Pretred transforms end-of-life tires into high-performance safety infrastructure through a closed-loop manufacturing process.
100% of every tire is fully recycled
Where it Begins
Used tires are collected and introduced into Pretred’s processing stream, where they become the raw material for new infrastructure solutions rather than waste sent to landfills.
Material Recovery
The materials recovered from each tire are separated with purpose: rubber is processed into crumb that forms the foundation of Pretred’s barrier systems; steel beads and belts are extracted for reuse in other industrial applications; and nylon fibers are reclaimed and redirected into new uses, keeping every component in circulation.
Engineered from Reclaimed Rubber
Rubber crumb becomes the core building block, compressed and formed into high-performance barriers built to withstand impact, weather, and continuous use.

FULLY CIRCULAR: PRETRED BARRIERS CAN BE RECYCLED INTO NEW ONES
Each recycled-rubber barrier uses about
75 to 200
waste tires
Each Pretred facility can divert
100,000,000
pounds of waste annually
Pretred’s barriers are
made from at least
95%
recycled materials
Our Approach
Our process transforms end-of-life tires into durable safety barriers through a closed-loop system that repurposes every usable material.
Reduces6 million pounds
of carbon emissions
Compared to concrete, one mile of Pretred barriers removes nearly 6 million pounds of carbon emissions.
